The Neighborhood

Welcome to our neighborhood! We are so excited to have our family and friends here to experience our favorite places.

Coffee Shops

Pueblo Querido : Our favorite local coffee shop for so many reasons. It has amazing Colombian coffee, juices, and baked goods. The pandebono and empanada will not disappoint! Grab to go and go sit by the water.
Butler : Popular window coffee shop for a quick caffeine boost. Very popular spot in the hood.
Partners : Bustling coffee shop with lots of seating. Rumor has it you can't go wrong with the breakfast burrito.
Upstate Stock : Rustic spot with espresso drinks & pastries, plus locally made home goods & gifts.

Restaurants

Café Mogador : Buzzy outfit serving traditional Moroccan tagines, couscous & more in comfy yet charming quarters.
Shelter : Hopping restaurant serving pizzas, empanadas, brunch & more in a rustic space with communal tables.
Gran Torino : Restaurant & bar with outdoor picnic table seating open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & brunch.
Teddy’s : Old New York lives on at this 1880s-era bar/eatery with stained-glass windows & a famed Bloody Mary.
Roberta's : Great pizza spot in Domino Park right along the water.
Joe's Pizza : Cozy corner outpost of a longtime counter-serve pizza joint prepping New York–style slices & pies.

Bars

Kent Ale House : Bar and Irish Pub. Great bar food, drinks on tap, and lots of TVs. We love the friendly staff!
Brooklyn Brewery : Take a free brewery tour and kick back with a flight of beers. The story of how this local brewery became a global name is pretty cool! Try the Bel Air Sour! It’s one of our favorites.
Dolly's : Dolly Parton themed, classic Brooklyn bar. Good (cheaper) mixed drinks.
George Jack's : Solid dive bar close to the hotel area.
Radegast Hall & Biergarten : Fun German biergarten in the area.
The Levee : Chill local spot with free popcorn and a pool table.
Skinny Dennis: Down-home, honky-tonk saloon pairing a woody space with beer, games & live country music.
Golden Years : Low key but solid bar with a quaint backyard. The last bar we stepped foot in before the lockdown started.
Thief : New cocktail bar in the neighborhood. A little sceney but a cool vibe.

Don’t forget about the hotel rooftops! Each one has seating with amazing views of Manhattan.

Activities

CitiBike The Hood : Take a bike ride around the neighborhood. You’ll find citibike stations scattered throughout. There are quite a few bike lanes so you’re not just in the streets.
North Williamsburg Waterfront : Walking and sitting along the water is one of our favorite things to do. There is a section of pier from N4th to N7th that is a worth a visit!
Ferry Ride : You can grab the ferry from this same pier mentioned above. It’s a great open air ride into Manhattan for $2.75. Check out the schedule to Wall Street here. It's the North Williamsburg Ferry stop.
Domino Park : A cool industrial style Park Built in front of the old Domino sugar factory building. Tons of seating and good people watching. There is a brewery, taco spot, Ice cream, and pizza place right there as well.
Subway : The L train will take you right into the heart of Manhattan. It runs along 14th street and connects to many other lines. The closest station is on N7th and Bedford.
